These terms govern this website (epiphanistudios.com), your studio account at account.epiphanistudios.com, and the Epiphani apps. Epiphani Studios is operated by Afermi Ventures Inc ("we," "us"). By using the site, the account platform, or an Epiphani app, you agree to these terms.
One studio account carries every Epiphani license you own. You sign in with Google or a passkey; keep access to that sign-in method secure, since it is the key to your library. Your licenses are attached to your email address, so use the same email at checkout and at sign-in to keep everything in one place.
Purchases are processed by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record, and the transaction itself is also governed by Polar's checkout terms. Each app's listing on this site states its price and whether it is a one-time purchase or a yearly subscription:
If a purchase goes wrong, or you want to ask about a refund, email hello@epiphani.studio and we will make it right with the merchant of record. A refunded purchase ends the corresponding license.
A license is for your own use, on your own devices, under your own account. Do not share, resell, or redistribute license keys or account access. We may revoke a license that was refunded, obtained fraudulently, or used in violation of these terms.
Everything you create in an Epiphani app, including recordings, transcripts, notes, documents, and photos, belongs to you. Our apps are built on-device first, so keeping your own backups of anything important is your responsibility. You are responsible for using the apps lawfully, including obtaining any consent the law requires before recording other people.
Apps marked early access, and any TestFlight or beta builds, are still being finished. They may contain bugs and may change at any time.
Do not use the site, the account platform, or the apps to break the law, infringe others' rights, or interfere with the services that power them.
The site, the account platform, and the apps are provided "as is," without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved, and we are not liable for lost data or indirect damages.
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the site, your account, or the apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
